If you had told me 10 years ago that I would be an influential force on the internet, sharing my thoughts with the world, and now a member of the BlogFrog’s Influencer Circle, I would have laughed hysterically. Nevertheless, here I am, eight years after starting my first blog and a million and one lessons later to remind you that being influential isn’t just about getting your opinion out to the masses. It is about the relationships you form along the way. So, even though my kids think I am an influential goddess, thanks to all the goodies that come in the mail for them, there are three influential women I want to tell you about that rock my world.
Tiffany at Sweet Phenomena
I ♥ Tiffany! Though we have never met in real life or spoken on the phone, she is a force that drives me to push through when I find myself in the worst of the worst of blog slumps. We both launched our blogs at the same time and over the two years, I have watched both of our blogs evolve and grow. Recently, Tiffany has grown so much in the world of blogging and it has inspired me to keep going once again. If you love pink, have ever considered homeschooling, what to find out about her recent contributions to a cookbook or to find out how you can help fight domestic violence, you must go pay her a visit.
Heidi at Heidi’s Head and Homeschool Mosaics
What is in Heidi’s Head exactly? Well, I can tell you that there is a wealth of Disney information hiding in there along with wonderful stories that are shared on Heidi’s blog that this Disney loving mom reads. On top of that, over the past year I had the unpleasant experience of seeing just how cruel online business can be, with Heidi as the victim. I also watched her fight for what was right and grow tremendously because of it. It was very inspiring, just as her new site, Homeschool Mosaics, is for homeschoolers who are looking for encouragement.
Andrea at Confessions of a Daydream Believer
Andrea doesn’t blog often, but every time I see that a new post is up, I click at the speed of light to go read it. Why? Because she almost always makes me laugh. She’s not afraid to be honest about personal things, but does it in a way that isn’t intrusive to her family’s privacy. Mostly though, as she is just awesome, knows how to rock a stash like nobody’s business and keeps me smiling daily via Facebook and Instagram.
If I have questions about a homeschool curriculum, blogging, Disney world or Autism, you can bet these women are at the top of my list. They have earned my trust and prove to me just how influential bloggers can be.
