Boring, Ugly Switch Plates Be Gone: Say Hello to the Renu® Collection

For years I have stared at the beautifully coordinated paint on the walls in this home and the warm wood trim and then let out a giant “Pfffftttttt….” when I look at the light switches our outlet covers. They are generic, ugly and really throw the room out of whack. Then recently I was introduced to theRenu® collection of switches, dimmers and outlets from Leviton when asked to write this post and got excited about those normally ugly little things for the first time.

What’s So Special about the Renu® Collection?

Well, the Renu® collection of switches, dimmers and outlets all have changeable face plates that are available in 20 different designer shades. So not only can you pick a shade that complements the paint or trim in your room, but if you feel like changing it up in a few months you can with no hassle.

I, personally, want to attack or living area with a fresh new set of covers from Renu®. The walls are painted a lovely sage green with the warm wood trim and wood floors, making our generic cream wall plates that much more of an eyesore. I’m thinking the Warm Caramel would look nice or even that using the Prairie Sage would be interesting to just allow the switches to blend in.
