Healthy Breakfast You Actually Want to Eat

I'm not a breakfast person. I'm good with a few cups of black coffee until at least 10 am. The thought of actually eating breakfast before then just makes me cranky. I just happen to have these three kids here that wake up like ravenous fools, clamoring for anything can find before their eyes are fully open.

Making them breakfast is one of least favorite things to do. Trying to make sure that it is a healthy breakfast that they will actually eat is a whole other story.

Lucky for you, I've browsed (wasted countless hours on Pinterest) to find some of the best boards with healthy breakfast that you actually want to eat, and your kids might too!

Food & Wine: Healthy Breakfast

I'm a Top Chef Junkie and could never pass up offerings from Food & Wine magazine. Two of my top picks from this board are the Cinnamon Polenta Pancakes and the Spiced Yogurt Muffins.

Produce for Kids: Healthy Breakfast Ideas

If you've never heard of Produce for Kids, I had the pleasure of being introduced to the amazing organization in 2012 at the SheCon conference. They aim to educate families on healthy eating and their website is full of ideas to get your family on the right track.

They have so many great options for a healthy breakfast, but my top two picks from this board are the Strawberry Lemon Chia Seed Protein Muffins and the Fuel up French Toast.

What the Fork Food Blog: Healthy Breakfast Recipes*

Sharon at What the Fork Food Blog knows how to temp me to actually eat breakfast. Her board includes many decadent, dessert inspired, breakfast that are still healthy. I'm adding my top two pins, Banana Pudding Oatmeal and Breakfast Chocolate Mousse, to my menu plan soon!

I hope you've found some inspiration to actually enjoy a good breakfast from these board too! Maybe you can share some of your favorite healthy breakfast with me? What is your go to, good for your breakfast?
